Lifepatch – citizen initiative in arts, science and technology: is a community-based, cross-disciplinary organization formed on March 26, 2012. Building on citizen initiatives in arts, science and technology, Lifepatch invites members and members who are involved in its activities to study, develop, and develop the presence of technology, natural resources, and human resources in the surrounding area. Citizens are chosen to provide wider space for the diversity of practices of their members and spur the creativity of each member in playing a role in collaborative activities. Do It Yourself (DIY) and Do It With Others (DIWO) are the passion that Lifepatch holds in practice to be able to spur the emergence of new patterns and systems that are straightforward from individual and community creative processes, as well as interactions between individuals in a series of community work.

Living members have a mission to be useful in developing the potential of human resources and local natural resources, building bridges of domestic and international collaboration, providing open access for organizations to the resources of research and development results that have been carried out. Lifepatch was founded on March 26, 2012 by several people with various backgrounds in disciplines, both from formal and non-formal education. Members who are members of the patron of life reside in various cities such as Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru and Bogor. This is the main reason Lifepatch started relying on communication via the internet.
