Even if I searched for words to say something plausible, honestly, the beginning was a joke-like idea. However, we are convinced that all creative things will come from valuing the momentary thoughts that are likely to be blown away by such a little theory. Consistent with the activities of MOAO, while using the name “Museum”, we ask viewers “What is art ?” Through exhibitions and works, and try to think together. That’s what I’ve done. We have to put the viewer on the stage in advance on the basis of “art”, and we have to pile up words on the “tacit understanding” and “premise” as an introduction, silence as a common culture, We are looking for dialogue with the viewer. That’s because I believe that dialogue begins with “I don’t know” and new possibilities arise. In other words, rather than following the rules of art that you do not know who decided, through the works and exhibitions that we present, we can talk with many people about “whether it is art ?” and enjoy themselves. I feel that it is more possible to expand the possibilities. I strongly hope to make “美術(art)” an interesting thing. We are planning exhibitions on an irregular basis.
